Well, even with an extra day, I still haven't found time to begin plotting my third Nephos novel. But, after finishing another three Agatha novels, I know it will definitely be a murder mystery.
I also read The Realt this month, which is James Brogden's sequel to the brilliant fantasy horror Tourmaline. My review will be coming soon. Spoiler alert: it's awesome.
I also wrote a piece of flash fiction to prove I am not complete procrastinating from my writing duties. It was a horror piece called Knock Knock about an optician. My writers' group found it very unsettling. In honour of Leap Day, you can read it for free on my blog!
Finally, February was the application window for Room 204, the writer development programme run by Writing West Midlands. I applied this year because I feel some mentoring would be a big help for my writing career. You can watch my application video to learn more about what I hope to gain from the initiative.
So, lots of reading, a new story and a potentially game-changing application. Not bad for 29 days.
